OUTFIT
aarya smiled one last time as she checked her reflection. she smoothed down the bottom of her cream polka-dotted dress. the base color was red. with her flats already on, aarya put her sunflower necklace on the fixed her long blonde hair one last time. her mother always said that because she was a princess she could never been seen without looking perfect. so aarya always put every effort to make sure nothing was out of place.
finally feeling satisfied with everything aarya picked up her book and walked down to the courtyard. the warm wind blew her hair and dress back slightly. this brought a smile to the young princesses face. being cold all the time, really made aarya appreciate the warmth. finally reaching the courtyard, she set her book down on a bench so she could sit properly. aarya picked up her book and began where she had marked.
her book mark was a letter from her father. she had received news that her step-sister brenna was to start at her school this year. this made aarya both elated and scared. she would finally be able to be with her girlfriend, but they would have to be even more careful. shaking her head of these thoughts, aarya started reading when she heard a small noise.
